Dress Pose Reference for Artists

Description Clothing that is difficult to capture in terms of silhouette and wrinkles is photographed in a variety of poses, from basic poses such as standing, sitting, and lying down to pair poses such as piggybacking. The book is composed of two sections: “poses with backgrounds,” photographed against classical and heavy backgrounds, and “simple poses,” photographed from multiple directions at three angles—eye level, low angle, and high angle. Softly puffed princess-style dresses, gracefully swaying skirts, loose-sleeved blouses, and beautifully draped negligees… The expressions of fabric change along with movement—sitting, walking, turning. All photos are OK to trace and copy! They can be used for manga and illustration production, whether for commercial magazines or doujinshi. You can draw while looking at the photos, use only the poses or clothing shapes as references, or add arrangements such as skirt length or decorations to create your own original costume.
