This 10.5″ British Gurkha Jungle Issue PRI Khukuri (often called “kukri” or “khukuri” in the West) is the unpolished standard-size khukuri used by Gurkha soldiers for tactical jungle warfare. When the Gurkha soldier joins the British Army they get this khukuri during the training sessions. It is also perfect for rough use because of the unpolished blade. This is the tactical khukuri that is used for jungle warfare by the Gurkhas. Therefore, it is called jungle khukuri or PRI-type khukuri. The shape and size of this khukuri are similar to service no.1 khukuri. The casing is made of pinewood wrapped in a camo fabric or cloth that helps you conceal your khukuri out in the jungle.
