Description Small-batch local honey harvested from our own Vermont bee hives. Each jar reflects the season, the surrounding landscape, and the flowers our bees visited while gathering nectar. Because this is real seasonal honey, color and flavor naturally vary from harvest to harvest. Lighter honey is often delicate, floral, and bright, while darker honey is usually richer, deeper, and more robust, with a flavor that can be similar to good maple syrup. These differences come from changing nectar sources throughout the season, and they are part of what makes local honey special. Our honey is not made to be perfectly uniform. It is harvested in small batches and kept true to the character of the hive and the season. Over time, good honey may crystallize. This is completely natural and does not mean the honey has gone bad. In fact, crystallization is a normal sign of real honey. To return it to liquid form, simply place the jar in warm water and stir gently. Use it in tea, on toast, over yogurt or oatmeal, in baking, glazes, marinades, dressings, or anywhere you want natural sweetness with real local flavor.
