This bowie knife has a 14-inch blade made from highly graded 5160 carbon steel with a balanced oil-quenching temper. The blade is very sharp and has a pointed dual edge made to perform tasks like stabbing and penetrating. The knife was inspired by an old American civil war bowie knife used in the past. The handle is a full tang made from rosewood and has a D-guard for the protection of the user’s hand. We also provide a western leather sheath for the knife made from water buffalo leather along with the knife. There is an oversized fuller that helps to reduce weight through the center of the blade and helps to carry the weight to the front of the swing, making the knife one of the most capable choppers you can put in your hands.
